Art and Scroll Studio of Temple B’nai Tikvah in Calgary, in association with the American Guilde of Judaic Art interviewed Claude Riedel for conversation on:
Claude Riedel is a designer and author specializing in the Ner Tamid or Eternal Light that is found in many sacred spaces. His installations of glass and metal provide the focal architectural element. The works combine traditional forms with evocative blown and stained glass. The use of a soft translucent palette is inspiring as elements of the personal and artistic merge. Between function and spiritual aspects his work is both ancient and modern.
